This is a community campaign from Kells, Co. Meath — the town that gave the Book of Kells its name. We believe the Book of Kells was written and created in Kells. It was taken away. It simply needs to be returned home. Not a loan.
We are not asking for a loan. We are asking why a book we believe was written and created in this town is still kept in Dublin. The people who took the glory need to answer that. It belongs home.
